Who regulates us?
Cornwood Finance are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), under FCA number: FRN 1007736. You can find the firm on the FCA Register by searching Cornwood Finance Limited at https://register.fca.org.uk/s/ or by contacting the FCA on 0800 111 6768.

What products do we offer?
Cornwood Finance offers asset finance and vehicle finance products: Hire Purchase, Lease Purchase and Operating Lease. We have a panel of lenders that we work with to provide these products.
All finance is subject to status and income. Terms and conditions apply. Applicants must be 18 years or over. Cornwood Finance only offers finance products from lenders on its panel.
What service do we provide?
You will not receive any advice or recommendations from Cornwood Finance in relation to credit products. You may be asked certain questions to assist with the narrowing down of suitable products. You will then need to make your own choice about how to proceed. Cornwood Finance will always provide you with both the advantages and disadvantages of the product types that are available to you.
Cornwood Finance is not an Independent Financial Advisor (IFA).
Will the service be regulated or unregulated?
If you are an SME (limited company or partnership of 3 or more) the provision of products using our services will be on an unregulated basis.
If you are an individual consumer or an SME which is an individual, sole trader, or partnership of 2 or 3, the provision of products using our services will be on a regulated basis. If a sole trader or partnership is borrowing over £25,000 for a business use asset only the agreement will be unregulated.
Regulated loans provide more oversight from the FCA. If you wish to discuss this further, please get in touch.
What fees or charges will you have to pay?
Cornwood Finance do not charge you a fee for using its credit broking service.
The lender may charge their own fees. These may include, but are not limited to, documentation fees, option to purchase fees, excess mileage charges or administration fees. This information will be detailed in the quote you receive from us once we have found a suitable product from one of our lenders.
How does Cornwood Finance make its money?
Cornwood Finance is paid a commission by the lender which is a % of the advance. This will not change the rate that the lender offers.
Cornwood Finance will ensure that you are provided with all the information required to make an informed decision for your individual circumstances. The firm is happy to share the amount of commission received on your individual application, if you would like this information, please use the contact information at the top of this notice.
What to do if you have a complaint
Delivering excellent service to customers is the number one priority at Cornwood Finance, however, we recognize that things may occasionally go wrong and you may feel you have cause to complain. Receiving your feedback is important to us as it enables us to learn and improve our service.
You can raise a complaint with us by any method you prefer using the contact details at the top of this notice.
We will endeavour to resolve your complaint as quickly as possible, but no later than 8 weeks from the date of receipt. If you are dissatisfied with our final response, you can refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS). You must do so within 6 months of the final response. The Financial Ombudsman Service is free and impartial, and you are entitled to contact them at any stage of your complaint. More information can be found at www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk.
